On September 12th and 13th, over 100 community participants joined us in the efforts to create a vision for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Family Justice Center.  During this workshop, we created a large and exciting vision that needs the input and help from every member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community.

If you have not had a chance to sign up for a workgroup, you can still join us in these next steps. Please click the link below and sign up for one of the following workgroups:
  • Governance and Facility- Focus on where the family justice center could be located and how it will be governed and ran
  • Service Delivery and Operations- Looking into specifics of services offered and operation of the family justice center
  • Funding and Sustainability- Developing a plan to obtain the funding and sustain the family justice center for many years to come
  • Community Engagement, Outreach, and Volunteers- Identify ways to engage the community at every stage and how to utilize resources available to us
Your commitment to one of these groups will be important to the vision of our Charlotte-Mecklenburg Family Justice Center becoming a reality.  Please take a few moments to sign up; we will rely on the community to create a center of hope and healing.
