On May 23rd and 24th, 2018, Alliance for Hope visited our community to determine if we were ready to develop our Char-Meck Family Justice Center.  The findings from this tour gave us the momentum to continue in this mission to develop a family justice center.  The team from Alliance for Hope found that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community has,

"built strong relationships and an excellent foundation for a future Family Justice Center...their current priority initiatives are key to our success in this journey and our readiness to build a collaborative campus model."

With the continued participation and support from our Community, we believe this vision of our Family Justice Center can become a reality.   Please take the time to read our complete Study Tour Report below.  If you would like to get involved and have not done so already, please contact us or sign up for a taskforce or workgroup.  Every voice is needed and wanted.

Study Tour Report

The following video was shown at the Camino Community Center on May 23rd during our Study Tour.  This video highlights the services and support a family justice center would bring to survivors of interpersonal violence in Mecklenburg County from the voices of local survivors and community leaders.
