As a partner in the field of services to survivors and victims, we wanted you to know that registration is open for the 2019 NC Family Justice Center and Collaborative Communities Conference.

Whether you have involved in this work for a while, or are new to the field, you recognize the importance and value of being able to attend sessions that focus on collaborative, multi-disciplinary programs to address domestic and sexual violence and "affinity" group break-out sessions to encourage members of different disciplines to learn from colleagues.  Lt. Mark Wynn is the keynote speaker.  Gael Strack, CEO and co-founder of Alliance for Hope, will present.  Also offered is a half-day expert certification course on Strangulation Prevention, taught by Gael Strack and Craig Varnum.

Click on the picture below to register for the conference.  For the conference agenda, please click the button below.  Please share this with your community and/or let me know if there are elected or other officials to whom you would like an invitation sent.

Whether you are a survivor or an interested citizen your voice is wanted and welcome. In May we held several  forums throughout the community to provide information about Family Justice Centers and sought feedback about the needs of interpersonal violence victims in our community.

Your input is still needed.  We will be scheduling additional information and feedback sessions this Fall after we receive the Strategic Visioning Report.  If you would like any of the project team to speak with your group, please go to the Contact page and let us know.

  • There aren't any upcoming events at present.
